I signed up for easel.ly using my student email, and it was all good at the start. But once my 7-day money-back guarantee was up, things went downhill. It began glitching and erasing parts of my project. I tried using three different browsers and two computers, even cleared my cache, but it kept messing up my work. I looked for a history log or anything in the help section, but came up empty. The customer service rep I chatted with was nice, but they told me I couldn't get a refund. I'm really regretting my decision to subscribe, especially since I'm a Canadian student and got hit with extra charges due to the exchange rate. Now I'm back to the free service at my university where I started, but I've lost a chunk of money. Even though I barely used the service and was close to missing my deadline, no refund came my way. I had suggested it to my lab, but after my supervisor found out I didn't get my money back, we're definitely not going with this option. I'm planning to share my experience with the lab in January to discuss whether we should use it for our poster presentations, and the answer is a big no.

Questionable Billing Tactics - Like others have mentioned, there’s a free version available, but to access most features, you gotta pay up. The cost isn’t huge, but they’ll keep charging you every year, even if you’re not using it actively, and they don’t give you a heads-up about upcoming fees. So, just like many folks, you might buy it for a one-time use, forget about it, and then bam! Eleven months later, there’s another charge. They’re counting on you not catching it or not being bothered enough to raise a fuss. It’s companies like this that make me cancel my cards once a year and get a new one, so they can’t keep pulling this kind of stuff.

The design of the info-graphic is absolutely gorgeous! Vernon whipped up a presentation and wrapped up the project in just a single day!!!

Now that’s what I call speedy service.

This site really stinks for newcomers and those just starting out have no good options. Worst site ever. Seriously, just get rid of this garbage site; it’s terrible. Why does the text have to be so messed up? Google Docs is way better than this junk; you can't even edit or create designs properly.

Once they sent over the initial draft of my infographic, I could easily tweak it using their straightforward editing tools.
